My Review of the Areta Fingertip Pulse Oximeter

***I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are genuinely my own.***

Words can't describe how excited I am to post my review of the Areta Fingertip Pulse Oximeter!

To give a little background info, my youngest daughter was born with complex congenital heart defects. Therefore, keeping up with her pulse & oxygen stats is really important to me. I need to know if her levels make a sudden drop so that I'll know if I need to take her to the hospital. I also need to know when her levels (primarily the oxygen) start GRADUALLY decreasing, as that's a sign that she's getting closer to needing her next corrective surgery. Until now, we've generally had to wait until her routine cardiology checkups for updates on her stats, and it's always nerve-wrecking to not know if things are declining or not.

This fingertip pulse/ox was extremely easy to set up before using. It runs on AAA batteries, which is a plus for me because those are generally the easiest batteries for me to find around my house. It displays the pulse rate, oxygen levels, and even the wave forms (as displayed in the picture). You simply slip it on your finger, and the stats pop up in a matter of moments.

I love that this is easily portable as well, because if there's ever an emergency or cyanotic episode while travelling, it means I can check her stats right there on the spot.

Am I happy with this product? YES.  If you have medical issues that require keeping up with pulse and oxygen stats, the Areta Fingertip Pulse Oximeter is a great and affordable option that you can find here.
