MintVine Review

If you're like me, and always looking for little ways to earn extra cash, then you may have heard about a survey website called MintVine. I created this post to give you an idea of what MintVine's all about because it's one of my favorite websites to use for earning extra side cash!!

One of the things that I love about MintVine is that it's so easy to earn cash! You can cash out with a minimum of 1000 points ($10.00) in the form of gift cards or PayPal! My own personal strategy is to take surveys and cash out once a month. If you notice where it says "PENDING" points up above, you'll see why I make the choice to withdraw my money only once a month. Points from surveys stay "PENDING" for 14 days after the survey is initially taken. This is so that survey moderators can go through and validate survey responses. If you rush through without providing thoughtful answers, the moderators will reject your survey entry, and you won't be awarded the points.  The points listed above are what I have TODAY that will go towards the total I cash out for on July 1st. As you can see, since I've started taking surveys with MintVine, I've earned about $350 total. I have good months, OKAY months, and months where I just don't really bother because life simply gets busy! I know people who've earned $200+ a month because they really devote their time to it!

Up above, surveys found in the "OFFERS" tab are listed. These surveys are different from the surveys on "Survey Street" in the fact that the points are credited the same day instead of having to wait 14 days for them to leave "PENDING" status. So if you're looking for a quicker cashout, check out the "OFFERS" tab!

As you can see above, there's a section where you can see the breakdown of surveys you've taken as well as the earnings from each! (You can also see my most recent PayPal redemption).

So if you're tired of all those survey websites that have ridiculously long surveys and ungraciously low payouts that take half-past forever to reach the minimum cashout threshold, I highly HIGHLY recommend signing up for MintVine!! I promise you won't be disappointed!!

If You Were Me And Lived In... Elizabethan England (A book review)

So I'm pretty excited about today's review! My daughter loves reading, so I'm always looking for new books for her to read. This book is one that she not only loved, but it's one that she was able to LEARN from, also.

In this book, the narrator describes to the reader all of the differences between life in England today, and life in Elizabethan England.

The book isn't too short, but it isn't too long either. It's just the right length to keep a child's attention. My 8 year old loved this book! She really loved learning about what life was like in Elizabethan England, and she loved being able to see the illustrations that painted a clearer picture for her.

Additionally, in the back of the book, there is a glossary of terms used during that time period along with definitions for them. There's also a list of some of the most famous people of the time period, along with their portraits (My daughter loved this part, too!)

If you're interested in getting a copy of this book for your kids, you can find it on Amazon.

Also, there are many other books in the series! Other books that you can find in this series are listed below.

If You Were Me And Lived In...
  • Ancient China
  • Ancient Greece
  • American West
  • Colonial America
  • Middle Ages
  • Mali Empire
  • Renaissance Italy
  • Viking Europe

The books listed above are for civilizations throughout history, however, there are also books to educate kids about the world as it is TODAY, which are listed below.

If You Were Me And Lived In...
  • Australia
  • Brazil
  • China
  • Egypt
  • France
  • Greece
  • Hungary
  • India
  • Italy
  • Kenya
  • Mexico
  • Norway
  • Peru
  • Portugal
  • Russia
  • Scotland
  • South Korea
  • Turkey
I really do love the concept behind these series of books! My daughter has started on "If You Were Me And Lived In... Renaissance Italy," And I'm certain that I'll be buying more books in the series to stick under the Christmas tree for her this year!

I did receive a copy of this book for free, however, all opinions stated in this post are genuinely my own!

Holan Aromatherapy Essential Oil Diffuser

It's me again!!! I've spent the last week or so testing a product that I'm actually super glad I found....and I love the way it works!

The Holan Aromatherapy Essential Oil Diffuser (Which I received for free, in exchange for my honest review) is pretty nifty!

This diffuser has multiple light settings. You can set it to be a single solid color (of your choice, of course), or you can set it to rainbow mode, where it gradually changes to each color of the spectrum. The colors are bright enough to be seen, but at the same time they're dim(ish) to give the room a relaxed feel.

The Holan also has two mist settings. You can set the mist to spritz sporadically, or you can set it to a continuous mist.

If you're looking for a diffuser for the purpose of using oil blends that help with sleep, this one has an automatic shutoff function once all the water's gone, so you can fall asleep even easier with that knowledge! (My husband and I use sleep blends to help with insomnia).

#LEBICE Popsicle Molds

I received a set of #LEBICE Popsicle Molds in exchange for my honest, unbiased, review.

The set (which you can purchase here) comes with 6 molds, which is perfect for my family. The molds are also BPA free, and dishwasher safe (these are perks, in my book).

What I love the most about these is that you can get creative, and add any ingredients that you want. I like that I get to create what I want because HEY....I love being in my kitchen! It's also nice to know that you know exactly what's going into your treat. Also....there's plenty of variety for making HEALTHY snacks for my family!

The set I received came with a small complimentary recipe booklet (THANK YOU!!!), from which I followed the recipe for Strawberry Creamsicles for our first go-round.

The recipe I followed was a simple layering of pureed strawberries, and Greek yogurt. I was a little leery at first, thinking I'd accidentally filled the molds too high (because the ingredients can expand when they freeze). Luckily that wasn't the case though!

About 6 hours later, and VOILA!!!! The creamsicles turned out BEAUTIFULLY!!! They were also quite delicious!

I honestly can't wait to make more, and I can't wait to get my kids involved (I'm letting them choose the ingredients with the next batch).

If you're looking to make your own treats this summer, I highly recommend these! I'm actually going to invest in some more, just to have extras on hand when friends and family come to visit!

Bonafide Baby #BabyCarSeatCovers Review

***Sponsored Post*** I received a Pink Chevron car seat cover from Bonafide Baby in exchange for my review. All opinions expressed in this review are genuinely my own.

As a mother, I am always looking for new products and ideas to help make parenting easier. As a result, I was delighted to have the chance to try the pink chevron cars seat cover, made by Bonafide baby. With my older two daughters, car seat covers were something that I never really thought about. My youngest daughter, however, was born with congenital heart defects, which means her immune system is weaker than that of a completely healthy person. As a result, I'd been in the market for a car seat cover as a way to ward off germs when in public places! With all of that being said, let's get down to business on this great product that I was able to try!

I was sent the pink chevron design to try. On the front, you've got a white & baby pink for the colors. I love the soft blend of these colors! On the back (as you can see in the top right corner of the collage) you have more of a hot pink coloring, with a super soft fabric (the front is more of a plain cotton fabric).

As you can see in the bottom picture of the collage, this car seat cover provides adequate coverage of the entire car seat. I love this because it really gives my daughter protection from outside disturbances (or germs) when we're in the grocery store! The soft fabric on the back also makes this cover a great makeshift blanket when nap time rolls around if we're our visiting friends or family!
