Midori Spring Matcha Green Tea Powder Review

***This is a sponsored post*** I received Midori Spring Matcha Green Tea Powder free, in exchange for my honest review. All opinions expressed here are genuinely my own.

Being as healthier eating is something I've started introducing my family to, I was happy to be selected for the opportunity to try Midori Spring's Matcha Green Tea Powder. Not only was I excited to try it as a traditional tea, but I was excited for the possibilities of how I can incorporate it into different recipes! I bake a lot of things from scratch, so I'm delighted to say that I was not left disappointed...and neither was my family! Also, the tea has become a great alternative to coffee for me lately!

Let's start by talking about what makes Midori Spring's Matcha Green Tea powder unique. Midori Spring's Matcha Green Tea is Organic, Kosher, and Vegan certified. It's also GMO, gluten, dairy, and soy free! Virtually anyone can consume this!

Matcha green tea also has many health benefits, which include:

  • Ridding the body of toxins
  • Boosts immune system
  • Increases metabolism
  • Has a calming & relaxing effect
  • Has high amounts of Epigallocatechin Gallate (EGCg) which is a cancer fighting agent
  • Provides essential nutrients such as Vitamin C, Zinc, and Magnesium
  • Helps lower cholesterol and blood sugar

The benefits listed above are just a few to name. This is why I'm glad I've discovered this product!

With this ceremonial grade powder (which can be bought here), you can get the most benefits through the traditional brew. Brewing tips can be found on Midori Spring's website, here.

My first impression of the taste of this, is that it's definitely potent, but in a refreshing sort of way! I noticed some of the effects within less than 20 minutes of consuming it! I'd previously been on the verge of an anxiety attack, but those feelings went away as soon as the tea kicked in!

I'm not only more calm now, but I feel weirdly energized, in a way...if that even makes any sense! I'll definitely be brewing this more often!

If you decide that you aren't into the traditional tea form of Matcha Green Tea Powder, it's okay! You can still enjoy its benefits by mixing it into different recipes. As I stated earlier, I've done this as well! In fact, Midori Spring's website also has a page dedicated to all the yummy recipes that are possible!

I chose to try the Matcha Pancake recipe yesterday morning! My daughters love pancakes, and I figured that these were a great way to get them to eat healthy without even realizing it.

They were very simple, and easy to make! The pancakes tasted almost like regular pancakes, with a smooth flavoring of the Matcha mixed in. The girls couldn't even tell the difference! All they knew is that the pancakes were green, and they were delighted, as they were reminded of the Ninja Turtles, haha!

I'll be mixing my Matcha into a tasty shake later during the week when I'm bored, and feeling creative as far as what's on the breakfast menu!

There are truly many benefits to be found with Midori Spring's Ceremonial Grade Green Tea Powder. Whether you choose to brew it the old-fashioned way, or you decide to get creative by mixing it into different recipes, what is there to not like about having such a healthy alternative with or in your meals?? I will definitely be purchasing another canister of this as soon as my current one is empty!
